A Breath of Fresh Air

So once again, another morning where I don't have obligations, I have decided to sit down and write another post. 

I went to my new school yesterday for the first time. It was like a breath of fresh air.  The classrooms had a couple of tables and a carpet and many areas that seemed conducive to learning.  One of the hard things about the schools here is that when there are 30 desks and chairs moving around on tile floors it gets extremely loud! It was very difficult for me to hear the students and hear myself think. I think this will make it easier.  My co-operating teachers name is Nazhira she is in her 40's or 50's and seems very experienced, she also brings a great energy to her classroom.  I will be doing my first lesson at this school on Thursday, I am very excited.  Friday there is no school due to....... well, I'm never quite sure why school get's canceled :).  The classroom has 24 students, they are all very sweet! 

Mom get's here a week from today we are planning on going to beaches on the North Pacific coast, I can't wait, then when she leaves Mr. Adam comes, hurray!

This evening I'm meeting up with my friend Beth form Eagle Heights to indulge in some seafood, I'm excited to see a friendly face.
